The Eduswag
Culture Cat
Hello.
I’m Bella. Pronounced: Bae•Ya
Dr. Amber Smith’s cat. Resident observer… And the official Culture Cat of Eduswag.
You’ll see me around here from time to time. Mostly watching. Occasionally offering a thought. Sometimes holding a crown or quietly questioning why a meeting exists.
Cats notice things humans often rush past.
Workplace culture is one of them.

My job here
At Eduswag, people talk a lot about composing harmonious culture.
That’s a good phrase. I approve.
But culture is not actually created by phrases.
It’s created by behavior. By choices. By how people treat each other when nobody is performing for the room.
That’s where I come in. I am calm. I am curious. I am unimpressed by unnecessary complexity. And I am an observer.
And I am very good at detecting when something feels off in a room.
I sit in the metaphorical corner of the workplace, watching how humans interact, and occasionally I share a small reminder or observation you can connect with.
What I Believe About Workplaces
After careful observation from several comfortable surfaces, I’ve come to a few conclusions. Healthy workplaces have: Respect that is visible in everyday behavior. Leaders who set examples rather than deliver speeches. Room for people to grow, change, and evolve. And cultures where people are treated as humans first.
When those things exist, people do their best work. When they don’t… well… the vibe becomes noticeable.
Cats are very good at detecting vibes.
The Culture Cat Collection
The posters are small cultural observations. Not lectures. Just gentle nudges that invite people to think a little differently about the workplace.
A few things I’ve noticed:
You are often more capable than you think.
Perspective changes everything.
People grow when the environment allows them to.
And culture improves when leaders model the behavior they hope to see.
